Join us January 31st - February 16, 2024 for an inaugural Journey that balances the VIBRANCY and ENERGY of Brazil, the natural DRAMA of the Amazon and the CULTURE of South America. Prepare to be fully ABSORBED.
With a quest for Carnival, the fates bring us to Brazil to experience not one but two of the most epic street parties. To prepare, first we call on the sybaritic beaches of Barbados and Fortaleza, punctuated with a visit to the untamed Devil's Island. Tender ashore to this infamous French penal colony where a wild jungle frames Instagram-worthy photos. The party begins in the African soul of the country, Salvador, where Carnival beats to a rhythm all its own that is fuelled by Afro Bloco (drum-based troupes) with massive drum-lines that will blow your mind.
We arrive in Rio on the most fervent night of the celebration. Flamboyant floats, ostentatious costumes, choreographed dancers and acrobats all pulsate in the Samba Parade. The Manhattan-like skyline of São Paulo draws us in as a cosmopolitan basecamp for expeditions to Iguazu Falls, the mighty Amazon rainforest and further into the deepest reaches of the continent.
