Viêt Nam is a Southeast Asian country best known for its beaches, rivers, Buddhist pagodas and thriving city centres. Hanoi, the capital, in the North is home to the Communist-era leader, Ho Chi Minh's impressive marble mausoleum. Ho Chi Minh city (formerly know as Saigon) embraces much of its French colonial landmarks as well as the Vietnamese War history museum and the Cù Chi tunnels, used by the Viet Cong soldiers.
This 10-night tour will highlight some of the most scenic places to visit in Vietnam.
Day 1 (Mon., Dec. 12): HANOI ARRIVAL (-/-/-)
Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport, welcome by tour guide and transfer to the gorgeous Oriental Jade hotel for check in (after 14:00). Then, free at leisure to discovery Hanoi on your own

Day 2 (Tue. Dec. 13): HANOI FULL DAY CITY TOUR (B/L/-)
Today's tour of Hanoi provides an in-depth look in to the history and culture of the city. Visit the house and Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh (Closed on Mondays, Fridays and every afternoon), the country's oldest university - the Temple of Literature- and the lakeside Tran Quoc Pagoda. A chauffeured ride though the city's Old Quarter is an invigorating way to explore the dozens of small streets and lively shop fronts in this area before ending this afternoon at one of the dozens of museums in the area.

Day 3: (Wed. Dec. 14) HANOI – HALONG BAY CRUISE (B/L/D)
Breakfast at your hotel. Morning depart for Ha Long Bay, we go through the scenic countryside. The wondrous Ha Long Bay is truly one of Vietnam's most impressive scenic sights. Heading out of the town we embark on a boat for an exploration of the legendary Ha Long Bay. Cruise amongst the bay's rock formations and floating villages. As the sun sets, enjoy dinner onboard and your junk (boat) will anchor in the bay for the night.

Day 4: (Thu., Dec. 15) HALONG BAY CRUISE – HANOI – FLIGHT TO HUE (BRUNCH/-)
Wake up early and see daylight filtering through the mist and towering rock formations, leaving you with a dream-like memory of your visit to Ha Long Bay. Enjoy a breakfast and perhaps join a Tai Chi class on the boat's deck before disembarking and Transfer to Airport for flight to Hue.

Day 5: (Fri. Dec. 16) HUE FULL DAY CITY TOUR (B/-/-)
Our tour guide will pick you up at hotel in Hue then transfer to visit the Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. You will also stop to visit the Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, and the Forbidden Purple City.
In the afternoon, start your Dragon boat trip on Perfume River and a visit to Thien Mu Pagoda - Hue's oldest and most beautiful pagoda, thought to be the symbol of religion and spirit of the Hue people. Then we take a short drive to elaborate Royal tomb of Tu Duc Emperor which is considered as one of the most beautiful and picturesque and largest works of architecture of Nguyen Dynasty’s royal palaces and tombs. Finally, visit Dong Ba Market is the biggest commercial center of Thua Thien – Hue province and the adjacent regions

Day 6: (Sat. Dec. 17) HUE – MARBLE MOUNTAIN – HOI AN (B/-/-)
After breakfast, leaving to Hoian, half way between Danang and Hue lies the Hai Van Pass, which is the dividing line between the climate zones of North and South Vietnam. Continue Northwards on Hai Van Pass where you will have magnificent view of the My Khe Sea, stop at Lang Co beach to have break. Then, visit Marble Mountain is a group of five marble and limestone mountains, named after the five elements of the ancient oriental philosophy: metal, wood, water, fire and earth.

Evening: Meet up with your private guide showing you the sites and sounds of gay Hoi An.

Day 7 (Sun. Dec. 18): HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN - FREE AT LEISURE (B/-/-)
Morning: visit the ancient city of Hoi An which former name’s Faifo where there were a lot of Chinese living together with the Japanese and Vietnamese. Explore the sights of its quaint historic district with your private guide. Cross over the old wooden slats of the Japanese covered bridge. Imagine life over one hundred years ago at meticulously-maintained Phung Hung Ancient House and take in the stunning Phuc Kien Assembly Hall. Stop at Hoi An’s busy local market.
Afternoon: Enjoy a spectacular afternoon cycling in the countryside in Tra Que vegetable village and Cam Thanh water coconut village.

Day 8 (Mon. Dec. 19): HOI AN – DANANG FLIGHT TO SAI GON - HALFDAY TOUR (B/-/-)
Free at leisure till time transfer to Airport for flight to Saigon

In the afternoon: Visit the Cathedral of Notre Dame (outside) as well as the Centre Post Office and pass by the ornate City Hall (Hotel De Ville) and old Opera House. Visit The Unification Palace, which formerly was Independence palace of the South Vietnamese President. Then visit one of the most famous history museums, the War Remnants Museum, you have totally transformed your ordinary visit to Ho Chi Minh City to an intellectual yet remarkable trip.

Day 9 (Tue. Dec. 20): SAI GON – CAI BE FLOATING MARKET – SAIGON (B/L/-)
We travel west by coach to the Mekong Delta, a wonder of nature where the enormous Mekong River splits into branches on its way to the South China Sea. The tour will be started by boat to visit Cai Be colorful floating market and cruising among local barges full of fruits and vegetables. Then stop at local workshops where you can learn how to make rice paper, coconut candy and pop-rice, pop-corn...you can try and taste all kinds of candies with their family.
And take the rowing boat deeper into the countryside on smaller canals and to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
It is so interesting to see traditional houses made of wood and palm tree leaves and see some activities of the local farmers with an opportunity to interact with them and see how they catch fish...
After lunch, we can walk around and then we will enjoy some kinds of fruits when listening to the traditional music
The cruise will end at Vinh Long city
Return to the pier and drive to Saigon
