Secluded Greece Beach Escape

Island hopping in search for some of the best beaches to be found on the Aegean coast. Some of the lesser known islands in Greece are perfect for a romantic getaway free from crowds.

Day 1 - Travel to Athens

Day 1 is a full day a travel from your home airport to the Athens, International Airport arriving to Greece the next day.

Day 2 - Arrive into Athens

Upon landing at Athens International Airport you will clear customs and immigration on your own. Once out in the arrivals hall your driver will be waiting for you and will take you to your hotel for the night.

Day 3 - Island Hop to Milos (Travel Day)

Today you will check out of the Palmyra Beach Hotel and sail over to the Island of Milos for the start of your beach getaway. Beaches in Milos Greece stand out for their unique natural beauty and gorgeous water. The magnificent colours and the interesting rock formations of Milos beaches provide great places to spend a day at the sea.

Day 4 - Catamaran adventure visiting Adamas, Kleftiko, Poliegos, Pollonia

Today, soak up the Mediterranean sun on a sailing tour around Milos, the uncrowded island known as the origin of the famed Venus de Milo. Relax on deck with provided snacks and drinks as you pass colourful fishing villages, hidden coves, and volcanic rock formations. Stop to swim at an old pirate hideout, try your hand at fishing, and snorkel around a sea cave. Enjoy lunch on board or on a secluded beach, and end your day in paradise with a gorgeous Greek sunset and taste of homemade ice cream.

Stop At: Kalogries Beach Sailing across the coastline, leaving behind us Milos bay, we will pass by the traditional fishing villages of Skinopi, Klima, Areti and Fourkovouni with the colourful little houses - called "Sirmata"- built by the sea side. Then, we will visit Arkoudes, a complex of lava rocks, which takes its name by its characteristic shape, a bear. Opening the sails, we are heading to the impressive Cape Vani and our first stop for swimming, the natural bay of Kalogries, ideal for diving from the catamaran in its transparent waters. Pass By: Sikia Beach Follows the stunning cave of Sikia, where we will enjoy the view and you will be able to see the characteristic hole in its roof as well as the entrance of the cave.

Stop At: Kleftiko Beach Our next 2 hours stop for swimming will be the famous old pirates bay of Kleftiko with its numerous caves, its white rocks and transparent waters ! Our crew will guide you to the best caves to swim and snorkel to. You will discover a wonder of colours and rock formations underwater. A well-deserved lunch will be served after your swim, cooked by our crew on board and full of amazing surprises ! Stop At: Poliegos Continuing our adventures, will follow the majestic beach of Gerakas and its hot spring and the colourful beach of Firlingos. Finally, we will pass by the abandoned Sulphur Mines and sail towards our last swim : the amazing bay of Galazia Nera, in Poliegos ! There, the geological formations created a perfect setting for a lagoon, where the waters are extra transparent and even bluer then in any other place around Milos.

Day 5 - Explore Milos on your own


Day 6 - Milos Archaeological and Cultural Experience

Today you will take to the land and explore the island by car. Explore some of Milos' cosmopolitan to secluded beaches, traditional villages, museums and archaeological sights, natural wonders, caves and geological and volcanic sightseeing.


Stop At: Ancient Roman Theatre - Milos Our tour starts from the ANCIENT THEATRE of Milos, located on the east side of the narrow entrance of the gulf of Milos, among the modern villages of Tripiti and Klima, looking down to the largest natural port of the Mediterranean. Later, as we pass by the area where the statue VENUS OF MILOS was discovered and now graces the museum of Louvre in Paris France. Stop At: Catacombs of Milos We visit the CATACOMBS of Milos, that are the second most remarkable Pre-christianization monument worldwide, following those of Rome, because of which Milos was proclaimed a Holy Island in 2014 making it a World Pilgrimage Centre and enforcing the image of Greece as a focus of global, spiritual radiance.

Stop At: Plaka Castle (Venetian Castle of Milos) We then visit the FOLKLORE and ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM in the capital of the island Plaka, to learn about the History and the traditional life of the island, as well as a walk around the narrow streets of the village with numerous little shops, ending at MARMARA, the yard of the church of Panagia Korfiatissa, enjoying the majestic view from the most amazing spot for taking photos on the island. Stop At: Mandrakia beach We continue with a short visit in MANDRAKIA, a scenic fisherman’s village with 2 little docks that host Milos typical “Syrmata”, colorful – underground buildings – spaces where fishermen kept their boats. Stop At: Sarakiniko Beach A stop for swimming at the famous Sarakiniko, the white volcanic rocks sculpted by the time. Stop At: Pollonia Beach Then on the North side of the island we meet the archaeological site of the prehistoric city of FYLAKOPI, which is the most important city of the prehistoric Aegean Sea, where there are signs of people living there from the early days of the Bronze Age (around 3.000 B.C.). A short visit at the unique production unit of LOCAL TRADITIONAL DAIRY PRODUCTS, which will amaze you letting your senses free to taste. We then relax and enjoy a traditional lunch in POLLONIA, the most well known tourist destination of the island, which attracts tourist boats and connects Milos with Kimolos. Our tour ends with an amazing visit to the Vineyard and WINERY of the island, discovering all the stages of wine production as well as the promise of the oenologist for a trip of tasting the selected wines of Milos.

Day 7 - Sail from Milos to Folegondros (Travel day)

Today you will check out of the Olea Bay Hotel and sail over to the Island of Folegondros. Folegandros is an island of incredible natural beauty located between Paros and Santorini. Despite its proximity to two of the most cosmopolitan Greek islands, Folegandros has a very different style. Relatively untouched by international tourists, Folegandros island still manages to keep its unspoiled charm.

Built upon the slope of a rocky hill which starts from the beach, Vrahos Boutique Hotel is the hallmark of Karavostasis in Folegandros. Following the island's traditional architecture, it combines the dazzling white colour of Cyclades, with the blue one of the sky and the sea, as well as the stone, raised discreetly here and there from the ground.


Day 8 - Discover Folegandros

We start by picking you up from your hotel in an air-conditioned minibus. Right after, we drive you to our traditional village of Ano Meria and we discover several spots with interesting stories. We stop at old houses, at “themonia” which is a complex of houses that consists of the main house and all the other buildings (cellar, grain warehouse, etc.), in the bakery of Ano Meria which operates with a wood-fired oven! and at a remote chapel with a breathtaking sea view. We also visit a little shop with traditional products of the island which could be called folklore museum due to the old objects that decorate it. Among the above spots we can make a stop for a beverage enjoying the view and the breeze of Ano Meria.

Completing our excursion we can either return you to your hotel or drive you at the beach of Agali where you can stay for a swim and/or a meal in one of the taverns there. You can return from Agali beach either by a private transfer or by public bus.


Day 9 - Circumnavigate the Island of Folegandro


The semi-private boat tour starts from the port and the route that is followed depends on the weather. Our main goal is to offer you a pleasant trip and a memorable experience. For that reason, we’ll choose the beaches and the bays that will be calm on the day of the tour. Our tour guide who will be on board with you throughout the excursion will explain to you everything after the departure.

The stops for swimming are 4-5 each time and they are marked on the picture with the map. The duration at every stop is thirty minutes to an hour. During this time enjoy swimming in the crystal clear waters of Folegandros. Dive from the boat for more fun or just use the ladders that lead you directly into the sea if you find it easier. At one or two stops we have the possibility to approach the beach and let you walk ashore and stay on the beach enjoying the sea and the sun.

In the middle of the tour the crew prepares your meal for serving. The meal consists of delicious traditional homemade tidbits. It’s a light lunch so you can be able to swim again at the next stops.

After the meal a fresh mouth watering fruit is served and then we continue the exploration. Before the return to the port and while we are stopped at Georgitsis’s cave we offer you local sweets with a glass of raki completing our excursion in a sweet way!


Day 10 - Island Hop from Folegondros to Koufonisia

Check out of your hotel and hop on the ferry from Folegondros to Koufonsia.

Check in at the Koufonisia Hotel & Resort for the next four nights. Rest of the day on your own to explore the island.


Day 11 - Take to the sea and explore some of the remote reaches of the island

Explore the remote beaches of Koufonisia by boat. We will start from the far island of Iraklia and continuing to Schinousa and Kato Koufonisi, with stops at the shipwreck for snorkelling, as well as for food and drinks.


Day 12 + 13 - Explore Koufonisia on your own


Day 14 - Transfer to Athens

Check out of your hotel and head to the ferry port. Today you will sail from Koufonisia back to Athens. On arrival we will have a car waiting to whisk you away to the Athens Gate Hotel for the night.


Explore the many eateries around the Acropolis or take in dinner from the comforts of the award winning hotel restaurant with stunning views of the city and the Acropolis.


Day 15 - Transfer back home

We will have a car waiting for you at the hotel and will take you to the Athens Airport for your onward journey home.
