The train's most luxurious accommodations boast a double/twin bedroom, as well as an offset living area with space for private dining and a sofa. A private en-suite bathroom includes shower, washbasin and toilet, plus bespoke amenities and complimentary designer bathrobes. Noteworthy information about the train:
In addition to the luxury accommodations, the fares include all table d’hôte meals, however beverages are additional.
An aura of elegance abounds, so one can never be overdressed on the Orient-Express and we encourage our passengers to embrace the occasion! Cocktail or evening wear is appropriate for dinner; fabulous gowns / tuxedos are preferred, however at minimum, a jacket and tie are required. During the day, smart casual attire is preferred; no jeans or sneakers please.
As the train is historic and restored to its original form, there are no showers aboard, however each cabin has a sink with toiletries. The restrooms are shared and located at either or both ends of each carriage.
*The exception to this lies exclusively within our newly launched Grand Suites.
The train is air-conditioned. There is also a fan in each cabin and a large picture window which can be opened for a breeze if desired. During colder months, each cabin is heated by an individually controlled radiator.
